He has been thinking about a telescope fro some time and is really interested in looking at the stars. The NASA probe to Mars has made him want the telescope even more. Bought this great little telescope for my daughter as a way to introduce her into star gazing. We are loving it! Much better than I thought and it's fairly easy to use. Setup was quick and painless too. Had everything set up within minutes. I'd definitely recommend this for someone starting out in searching the skies or as a great gift idea.
