I'm not a runner but I love these socks. My wife actually got them for me because I sit at a desk all day and my legs were starting to swell a bit and retain fluid I guess. Those of us with less than adequate circulation (you know who you are) need all the help we can get! So now I wear these socks in the morning when I take the dog for a walk...and when I workout or work around the house...and they are like magic! My legs are much better. I know eating right and lowering salt intake has a lot to do with it too but when you need the extra umph in your legs to improve circulation then these may work for you. Obviously talk to your doctor if you have edema (leg swelling from fluid retention) that's not improving because there may be bigger things going on that need attention. But if you are looking for some comfortable compression socks to just help with circulation then look no further! These go on and come off easily and don't bind or cut off circulation...at least for me they don't. They come with a guarantee...so what have you got to lose!

These compression socks are wonderful, everything from the material, fit and feel are perfect. These are much easier to get on than some other socks I had but will be moving to these going forward. The best part is that because they have cotton in them, they were much more comfortable and breathable than my other brand of compression socks. The compression is spot on and helped me get to the end of the day without my legs feeling fatigued. I highly recommend them to anyone who stands or walks a lot.

I bought this socks based on reviews and they were right. The quality is excellent and the socks are great. I love how it's shaped based on your lower leg, so it's smaller at the ankle side then gets bigger towards the calf. So the compression is all over. Honestly, the high quality versus low price is unbeatable. I'm a tall girl though, so it was a bit shoter than my knee high, but I spoke to them and they refunded me and they are working on improving and evolving the product based on feedback. So excellent customer service, which is very important and shows that the customer is definitely a priority at Run Forever Sports. Definitely recommend them, they sure gained me as a customer too I'm sure my friends would appreciate it as well

Here is real quality and excellent design. These are far superior to any other compression hose I have ever had. I seem to recall that these were more expensive than others, but boy are they worth it. They are softer and thicker and smoother to apply. Not hard and smooth like others that take more effort to don. Using my crenelated rubber gloves, I could easily move (not work) these socks over my feet and ankles and both lower legs. They are very comfortable and cool. Having the toes, soles, and heels a different color than the rest of the stocking is brilliant. When using other all-black stockings, I find it is often difficult to maneuver the heel of the stocking onto my heel--it's all one color. I often have to make readjustments to get a proper heel fit, partly because the stretched heel is difficult to see during application when the fabric is being stretched. With the different colored marking, however, it is a snap to see and guide the stocking heel onto my heel with one easy movement. My new Run Forever Sports stockings are black with light grey toe, sole, and heel stitching. One problem: I ordered 20-30 mm Hg compression. However, the package holding the stocking gives no compression number. I'd hate to think that at least some of the ease of donning is because the compression of these stockings is less than 20-30. Is it possible these socks are made only for running and not also for therapeutic compression?

All I have to say is that I will be buying more of these in the future. I will make these my compression socks of choice. They are so much more comfortable that the medical grade beige ones that I have been accustom to. I will probably be buying many pairs to have for years to come. I would recommend these compression socks for those in need of them for medical reasons. That feel great and work great. Amazing!

Okay: I compared 4 pairs of socks and this is the winner. Comfortable the entire length of the sock. I don't need to turn them down at the top. The toe is not too tight, and I can align the toe proper with the larger area of colouration different from the rest of the sock. It is a thicker weave, so the collar doesn’t dig in at the top of the calf. Static: none. These feel supportive as my legs and feet don’t seem to tire. The Run Forever Sports Team and Co-founder, Christy, sent a message quickly after delivery to offer answers to customer questions and proper use, wear and care of the sock. A follow-up email was the question to this answer, that of a simple rating. No pressure. And, I’m sorry to say this, but the FYIs and the emails were in proper grammar, lacking these days in an international setting. Very happy. More of these on the way! I am a nurse who doesn’t like to sit … these are a simple necessity to my day. I am surprised by how effective these socks are at reducing soreness in the calves and feet. I bought them purely for that reason, and here was my test: I started C25K running barefoot on a Monday - I was so sore Tues/Wed/Thurs that I could barely walk. Serious limping, serious soreness. I ordered these and received them on Friday. Friday I did my second day of C25K, which is the same as the first day. My left calf was so sore during the run that it was painful to complete the run, but I did. I figured, residual soreness plus my second day of exercise? I'm going to be in some serious pain tomorrow and the next day. Enter compression socks. I wore them sleeping on Friday night and woke up feeling....LESS sore than the day before. It was like I hadn't even run yesterday. To be safe, I also wore them to bed on Saturday night to make sure the dreaded 2nd day soreness didn't crush me. Today (Sunday) my calves feel pretty great. Still a little sore, but for how sore they should have been after my 2nd day of C25K barefoot, I'm extremely impressed. I will continue to use them to minimize soreness, and to help me stay on track for my running goals.

Since a significant lower extremity injury last year, I have been in compressional socks for at least 16 hours daily. Appalled by prices for established name brands... think "J" and "S"... I have turned to Amazon for compression for athletes. Many are quite good. I believe those by Run Forever are the best. Why? 1. The socks are cotton. 2. They are incredibly easy to put on, so much so that I initially queried if the socks were indeed 20-30mm HG compression (they are and maintain great compression over hours of wear). 3. They are value priced. 4.There is minimal patterning. I originally thought this would not matter, but if you have experienced indentation lasting hours after removing a patterned sock with heavy seams, you're quite aware of the problem. So good are these socks, I've ordered two additional pairs. In my view, and especially if these socks last a year as suggested, they are a terrific investment.

I very rarely post a review but I can say that buying this compression sock "saved me" on a recent trip to Europe. I googled and found this sock and decided to buy a pair to carry on a trip to Europe. I am 68 years old and healthy with no real issues but just decided to buy a pair. I wore them on the flight over and they felt wonderful and kept my feet from swelling. We had a wonderful trip until I decided to wear sandals when visiting a museum with marble stairs - bad idea. I ended up falling the last 3 stairs and when I landed I was sure that I had broken my foot. I did not break it fortunately but I had to travel the next day with a 9 hour jet trip and there is no way that I could have managed without the wonderful compression socks. I went to a doctor when I got home and he said to continue wearing the compression sock and to keep my foot elevated as much as possible. Well it is 3 weeks later and yesterday was the first day that I went without my wonderful compression sock. I wear a size 13 shoe and the sock was just so comforting to my swollen and purple foot. I did fold down the sock about 4 inches from my knee because I have a large calf size. The sock NEVER lost its snugness!!! I wore it with some open sandals to work. I can never thank the company enough for creating such a wonderful sock. If anyone is traveling, I would never go without taking compression socks.
