Although it is "minimalist" in terms of its apparent robustness - it is thin plastic housing on the top - it seems like it will last a long time. Unfortunately someone walked away with it!

I am a volunteer with Big Apple Greeter in NYC -- we give absolutely free four to five hour tours to visitors from all around the world, aiming to build strong personal relationships in a divisive world and show visitors how we live in this great city. For a number of reasons, it makes sense to donate money to BAG by using the credits from my Amazon Chase card, and on almost every want list -- they come in every two weeks or so -- the supply lady asks for another of these staplers. They are used heavily but no one has ever said they were broken. Maybe they walk away? Maybe I should donate some chains to lock them down? A little smaller than the Swingline office staplers, and lighter in weight, but it staples through 8 or 9 sheets of paper easily. It's a good bargain as a general use stapler. And, at less than $6.00, it's a great bargain.

I'm not sure if it's as top notch as Office Space stapler, but it works for stapling papers together, Iv'e only done 7 pages at once, but it handled that just fine.

I ordered the 12-pack of these staplers because they were much cheaper, per unit, than any other "basic stapler" out there. They arrived quickly, and were packaged neatly. Each came with plenty of staples, which loaded cleanly and quickly into the stapler. It's worked great so far in my classroom, and sits on the corner of my desk for kids to use. It's held up so far to many students using it regularly.

This a great value pack for staplers. I used them for a project for 300 kids, and they held up great. They were easy to staple, light enough where kids could use them, but sturdy enough to be stable.
